狗狗瞓低前要先「氹氹轉」?

Why do my dog need to "spin around" before lying down?

Have the owners noticed that most dogs need to "turning circles" before lying down? At bedtime, whether it's on the floor, carpet, sofa, or dog bed, do dogs always circle around before lying down?

Have you ever thought about this seemingly "meaningless" action, whether it's them "arranging" or if there's any special significance behind it?

Making the bed

Dogs have lived in the wild since ancient times, using the sky as a blanket and the ground as a bed. They would dig a circle in the grass and flatten it, creating a natural little bed.

Sleep peacefully

In nature, there are all sorts of snakes, insects, mice, and ants. When sleeping, pigs make a circle in the grass, which can drive away snakes, insects, mice, and ants from the ground or nearby, so they can sleep safely and soundly.

Marking territory with a flag

When dogs step on the ground, their paw prints leave their scent. Other dogs passing by later will see the paw prints and smell the dog's scent, realizing that the spot is already "owned" and marked.
