Seasonal Dermatitis in Dogs

The allergens that cause seasonal dermatitis are generally not difficult to find in daily life, and the more common allergens in spring are usually pollen and mold.

Like pollen, allergens are not necessarily harmful substances. Instead, when certain dogs encounter these substances, their immune systems mistakenly think they need to release antibodies to attack them, leading to inflammation, itching, redness, and other reactions on the skin or other parts of the body.

Actually, in our daily lives, we can easily help our pets to reduce and alleviate allergy symptoms:

1. Every time you take your pet out, before entering the house, soak their paws with diluted apple cider vinegar water, then wipe their body after coming inside. This can reduce allergens and bacteria from staying on them or being brought into the house.

2. Stick to wiping your pet down every day with diluted vinegar water; it's a natural disinfectant and deodorizer that won't harm their skin.

3. Switch to using disposable face wipes instead of towels for drying off; they are clean and hygienic, eliminating the worry of bacteria breeding in towels.

4. At least clean the dog's bed once a week.

5. Vacuum the house daily and mop the floors with diluted apple cider vinegar water.
