教狗狗聽指令小技巧 坐下無難度

Tips for teaching your dog to listen to commands and sit down without difficulty

After many parents bring a new dog home, they hope to teach the dog to obey commands, such as "Sit", "Down", etc. Today I will share with you parents a quick and cool trick. If the dog is eye-catching, you can make the dog sit in just a few minutes!

Items needed : Infinite patience (because some dogs are easily distracted and stupid), dog treats

Training location : Any space where the dog feels relaxed, such as the living room at home. If the dog is relaxed enough, it will be helpful for training.

Train your dog to sit on command in 4 practical and simple steps

1. In front of the standing dog, place a small piece of dog snack in the palm of your hand and close to the dog's nose to attract the dog's attention. But it’s not like he snatched it away

2. When the dog comes close to sniff your hand, because the dog focuses on the zero in your hand, its eyes will not leave your hand. You can slowly move your hand above the dog's head, and it will naturally raise its head. Then extend your hands towards the dog's head and tail. Since the dog cannot reach the back of its neck, it will naturally sit down and look at your hand from an angle. In this way, the dog will sit successfully.

3. When the dog's butt firmly "Sit" to the ground, immediately or say "Good". At the same time, reward the dog with treats in your hand.

4. Reset and repeat exercise:
Then repeat steps 1 to 3. Repeat the exercise 3 times a day, with each exercise lasting at least 3 minutes but no more than 5 minutes.

Once the dog can sit well through the above steps 8 or more times out of 10 exercises, this action of reaching out on the dog's head will become a hand gesture command for the dog to "Sit". Then you can proceed to the next step.

5. Add voice commands:
Before placing the snack in the palm of your hand and making a gesture command, add a sound such as "sit" or "whistle", etc., and then make the gesture command (reaching out).

Note that the new directive must be added before the old directive.

Then, repeat the same exercise three times a day as before until the dog starts to be able to sit on verbal command.

Gesture commands are usually learned quickly, while voice commands are learned much more slowly.

PS Each different gesture command or voice command must be clearly different. Dogs cannot distinguish gestures and voices that are too similar.
